Supposed to be, this is a basic dress project in our dressmaking class but I made a twist to make it look chic. Because the fabric on the body is plain, I used a different fabric for the sleeves which has a combination of plaid and animal print. I also widened the armhole and inserted a yellow piping for added effect.
And! It’s not anymore a simple basic dress. My teacher even said, “It’s already your own design dress.” Thus, my fabrics aren’t gone to waste because I could actually wear the dress for it suits my style.
What I had worn for my feet is a nude suede wedge shoes which I got from Payless Shoesource.
Moreover, in fashion, accessories do complete the outfit. Just don’t get wrong in choosing the ones that match the clothes you wear. That gold collar necklace being paired with this dress made the look ace.
